Effective January 23, 2017, Indian nationals must complete an online pre-arrival registration in order to enjoy the current 14-day visa-free visit or enter Hong Kong during transit. Please note that this registration is not necessary if you are transiting by air and not leaving the airport transit area.
Each pre-arrival registration for an Indian national will be valid for six months or until the expiration date of the Indian passport linked to it, whichever is earlier. Provided that normal immigration requirements are met, a registrant may use a valid notification slip together with the specific and valid Indian passport to make multiple visits to Hong Kong visa-free. On each visit, a registrant may stay in Hong Kong for up to 14 days.
Hong Kong is a young, vibrant city bursting with energy. This is obvious to anyone standing on the pier in Tsim Sha Tsui, looking out over Hong Kong’s impressive skyline of skyscrapers. Furthermore, this is a city that has managed to make an art of squeezing seven million people together in an area of 1.100 square kilometers. With its tropical climate, beautiful landscapes, energetic nightlife and fantastic food, Hong Kong is a traveler's paradise. 25 million people come here each year to experience a city unlike any other in the world.
With an area of 1,110 sq. km, Hong Kong consists of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and a group of 260 outlying islands. The prosperous island is the center of economy, politics, entertainment and shopping with its southern part noted for sea shores and bays. Kowloon is another flourishing part where Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok are the most popular destinations. The New Territories and Outlying Islands are ideal places to experience a peaceful and natural holiday.
