ARRIVAL IN BAKU

You will be greeted by our local representative at Heydar Aliyev International Airport after you land and pass through immigration and customs. Arrive at hotel and check-in. You can relax and unwind at the hotel to relieve journey’s tiredness. The day is free for you. You can discover the city, go shopping, relax at the many beaches of Baku, try local cuisines, enjoy the nightlife or simple spent leisure time at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

OLD CITY TOUR OF BAKU
Baku

We shall spend the day exploring the Old City of Baku. We will begin the medieval fortress of Icheri Sheher, a UNESCO World Heritage Site build in 7th century. Walk around the narrow alleys and get lost in the beauty of the historical architecture. We will then visit the iconic and enigmatic Maiden Tower and learn the rich history of the city.

This will be followed by visitng to the beautiful Shrinavasan Palace that offers one of the best views of the city. Other sites we will visit will include The National Museum, Shemakha Gate, the historic quarter with buildings dating back to the 14th century and the Old Market square. Soak in the picturesque view of the it’s skyline, try some local delicacies at the cafes and shop from the small street shops all around the old city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

BAKU - ABSHERON PENINSULA - BAKU
Baku

Third day will begin with half-day excursion to the Absheron Peninsula. We will first visit the Ateshgah a Zoroastrian Fire Temple. We will then head to visit the historical building, the fortress from medieval times and the attractive mosque at Amirjan. Before we return to Baku, you can bask in the Sun or go for a swim in the Caspian Sea. Return to Baku for an overnight stay at the hotel.

GOBUSTAN
Baku

Post breakfast we shall leave for a half day excursion to Volcanic desert of Gobustan. UNESCO Gobustan, southwest of Baku, has more than 600 rock carvings, some believed to be 40,000 years old. We hen will head to see the very strange but rare mud volcanos. They are very fascinating and interesting for the mud bubbling out is cold.

After a day in the mysterious Gobustan we will head back to Baku. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the last night in the city.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport for your departure flight back home with wonderful memories of your stay in Azerbaijan.

Baku is known for its nightlife. There are innumerous clubs and bars where you can enjoy. If you are interested in jazz you must visit the Baku Jazz Center or Alov Jazz Bar in the Fairmont Hotel. Some of the top nightclubs that attract expats are Pasifico, Enerji, Madrid Bar and Otto.
