Welcome to Tbilisi! Upon your arrival at the Tbilisi airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will escort you to your designated hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have a comfortable night stay at your hotel!

Enjoy a lovely breakfast and proceed on your Tbilisi city tour. Start at Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world. Continue to Metekhi Church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulfur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafes, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park and head to Open Air Museum of Ethnography, a miniature model of Georgia. Have a pleasant night at your hotel.

Today we will visit the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta (3000 years old) and see its historical places: Jvari church and impressive Svetitskhoveli Cathedral where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Then drive to visit the town of Gori and its historical place: Uplistsikhe Cave Town (1st millennium BC). Uplistsikhe is the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass. This is an old and interesting complex with dwelling quarters, wine-cellars, bakeries, a three-nave basilica church hewn out in rock and even an antic theatre. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.

In the morning we drive up the famous Georgian Military Highway (leading to the Georgian-Russian border). On the way visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century), the two churches and the fortress overlook the Zhinvali water reservoir. The carvings on the churches are one of the best samples of the Georgian art. The drive is very scenic through high Caucasus Mountains. Arrive in Kazbegi - the main town in the region. Weather permitting you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Some free time and drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.
*NOTE: In Kazbegi there is possibility to hire local 4WD and drive up through beautiful valleys and woodland till Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m, from where is great view of the surrounded Caucasus mountains.

Enjoy the breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Transfer to the Tbilisi International Airport and board your flight. Fly back home with wonderful memories of your vacation!
