MAHE ARRIVAL

Arrive Mahe Island in Seychelles, a spectacular setting for an island holiday. You will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel/resort. Mahe Island is the largest island in Seychelles & possess some of the worlds rarest flora and fauna and half of its landmass is protected in reserves and World Heritage Sites. With spectacular scenery above and below the warm, tropical waters, wonderful walking, superb sailing, and world class fishing, these remote islands can offer a rich diversity of experience. FULL DAY DISCOVERY TOUR OF MAHE ISLAND

Savor a wholesome breakfast and proceed for an island tour.
The tour begins with a transfer from the hotel for a stop in the colonial centre of the worlds smallest capital, Victoria. Highlights to visit are the court buildings, museum, post office, Little Ben clock-tower [twin of the one outside Londons Victoria Station]. A turn around the corner takes one to the only set of traffic lights on Mahe island, next to the Codevar building where local crafts, including the renowned Kreol Or [Creole Gold] are on display for sale. A walk across Albert Street leads one to the focal point of the town, its colourful market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragances. This is followed by a drive across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge, en-route to the quaint Creole restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the tour continues around the southern tip of the island to the restored colonial plantation of Jardin du Roi, which is steeped in the short history of the Creoles and the Georges family,whose family tree carries a supposed link to Louis XVII of France. A cold drink of home-grown fruit welcomes tourists, before they tour the surrounding plantation of vegetables, exotic fruits, herbs and spices. The rest of the afternoon is for relaxation, with a stop at the Craft Village on the way back to the hotel, at about 1600 HRS.

MAHE ISLAND - A DAY FOR WATER SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Mahe Island

Relish a healthy breakfast & get ready to have a happening day with water activities of your choice. The most famous resort beach of Mahé is Beau Vallon beach, loved by both locals and tourists. The beach invites you for a gala time.

Beau Vallon Beach: This is a safe zone for swimming. Dotted by diving centres and offering a host of water activities, the beach facilitates you to delight in activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving. You can also hire a boat and enjoy sailing leisurely in the loving company of your soulmate. Refuel yourself at a restaurant here or shop for souvenirs to carry home. Come back to the hotel/resort for a good night’s rest.

MAHE ISLAND - OPTIONAL REEF SAFARI ADVENTURE
Mahe Island

Wake up to a blissful morning with a scrumptious breakfast. Complete day is at your leisure to self-explore the attractions of this island. Alternatively, you may choose to explore the Seychelles island and it’s surrounding with an optional full day Reef Safari excursion inclusive of traditional buffet lunch (extra charges).
Starting with a transfer to Victorias marina to board our luxury catamaran , Catalina, for the trip to the middle of the harbour, where we stop to feed the fish and allow you to explore the facinating underwater world by snorkeling and swimming with the fishes. A delicious lunch is served on board, a mouth watering buffet prepared in traditional creole style. After lunch, there is ample time for marine enthusiasts to explore the reefs through the windows of our semi-submersible or for those more geared to relaxation, take a swim a simply take a snooze on the beach of Cerf Island. For a perfect ending of the day, a petit rum punch de Iles is served on board before heading back to the Marine Charter and to your hotel.
