Nagaland is a mountainous state in northeast India, bordering Myanmar. It's home to diverse indigenous tribes, with festivals and markets celebrating the different tribes' culture. Its capital city of Kohima suffered heavy fighting in World War II, commemorated by memorials at the Kohima War Cemetery. Kohima is the hilly capital city of India's north eastern state of Nagaland. With a resident population of 99,039 it is the second largest city in the state. Dimapur is the largest city in Nagaland, India. Contrary to popular belief, the city's formation in Nagaland is separate from that of Assam. In the Middle Ages, it was the capital of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom.

Excursion to Angami Village - Culinary Tour
Kohima

In the morning after breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Angami Village. Experience traditional life at an Angami village in Nagaland’s Kigwema village. Start with a walk around the terraced fields, have lunch with your local host followed by a hands on session learning how to weave traditional Naga Baskets and Shawls. In the evening, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

This morning after breakfast drive to Dimapur. On arrival Dimapur, check in at hotel and relax. Later visit Ruins of Kachari Kingdom. In evening spend time at Dimapur Market - One of the landmarks of the town is the famous market near the railway station where one can buy the goods imported from Myanmar and China. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
