Arrival Mumbai - Local sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Mumbai, check into the hotel. The evening is free to relax and explore the nearby sights. For instance, you can visit the famous Juhu Beach and watch the sun in reddish hues. You can also savor the mouth-watering Mumbai ‘Pav-Bhaji’ and Bhel on the beach. Stay overnight in Mumbai.

Mumbai- Alibaug By Road 96kms/03hrs
Alibag

In the morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to the Alibaug. Alibagh is small town on the western coast of Maharashtra, It lies in the Konkan region and belongs to the district of Raigad. It is close to the famous metro of Mumbai. Alibag is named after the Garden of Ali. Stories say that Ali planted a lot of mango and coconut trees. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. Evening will be free to enjoy at the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Alibaug - Local sightseeing
Alibag

After an early breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Alibaug visiting Kolaba Fort stands testimony to the Maratha Empire that ruled this part of India back in time. The Fort, which is currently in a state of dilapidation, can be seen clearly from the Alibag Beach. One can visit this fort during the time of low tides. And also visit The Kaneshwar and Someshwar Temples are two iconic temples that will fill any pilgrim's heart with utter devotion. Both the temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva and are splendidly designed. Eevening will be free to explore beached of Alibaug. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Alibaug- Khanderi & Underi Island - Alibaug By Road 8kms/20mins one way
Alibag

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion trip to Khanderi & Underi Island. Khanderi and its sister fort Underi also called Jaidurg formed the major fortification along the coast of Maharashtra. This fort was built by Portuguese and occupied by Maratha Shivaji in 1660 to keep a check on the Siddis at Murud-Janjira fort. Khanderi falls under the control of Shivaji and the Underi Island used to come under the control of Siddis, who were the opponents of Shivaji. These two twin islands served as one of the landmarks for ships entering Mumbai harbor. Underi is smaller in size and is circular in shape whereas Khanderi is dome shaped. After the tour, return back to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
